Description
The expansion valve allows for a one way movement of liquids from a liquid pipe into a gas Pipe, this can be used to allow liquid into a gas pipe to evaporate.
A stationeer would install an expansion valve if it was their goal to have an assembly where a liquid (from a liquid pipe) shall be used as a gas (in a gas pipe), and the stationeer has also already made sure that the respective environmental parameters (i.e. pressure and heat) in those pipes, specifically the gas pipe, are ensured.
