Obtaining

Ore (Nickel) is a rare ore that can be mined throughout the surface and underground of a planet or an asteroid using a Mining Drill or Pickaxe. It can also be obtained by processing dirty ore from a Deep Miner using a Centrifuge or Combustion Centrifuge.

Processing

Nickel ore can be turned into nickel ingots by smelting it in an Arc Furnace, Furnace, or Advanced Furnace. Nickel is also an ingredient in Constantan, Invar, Hastelloy, Inconel, and Waspaloy.

Smelting in an Arc Furnace requires 1000 Energy. Using a Furnace or Advanced Furnace requires the following conditions:
