Is the first formula wrong?
Is the first formula wrong?
Reply: Good catch.  The final answer is still correct, but the intermediate equation has the differential inverted.  I've corrected it.

The dP/dn formula in the Extra Credits section says

(d/dn)(nRT)/V = (RT/V)*(dn/d)n

while the dT/dP formula says

(d/dP){(PV)/(nR)} = {V/(nR)} * (d/dP)P

Notice that, on the right side of the equation, the dP/dn formula inverts (d/dn) while the dT/dP does not invert (d/dP). Is the first formula wrong?
