can be grown in hydroponics to yield 2 x Fern seeds at an early stage and 4 x Fern when fully grown.
Ferns need the following
- Water: any pipe system connected to water will do.
- Temp: Min 15 Degree Celsius
- Just one should be able to offset the C02 production of one in game player
Its basically your long term oxygen generator when ya don't have hunger on
If you don't maintain a proper environment, they will start wilting.
Uses
- Previously, was placed in the Reagent Processor up to 20 at a time to make 100 Fenoxitone Powder as a stack. Each fern was worth 5 powder per process.
- Now fern can be used directly as replacement for Fenoxitone Powder
- Fern is needed for Milk
- Ten ferns will produce just under 1 Mol of Oxygen per minute
