Ingot (Steel): Difference between revisions

From Stationeers Wiki
Improper advice, it is not necessary to use 1:2 ratio, but it does make it easier. Edited to reflect that.

Description

Ingot (Steel) is a metal alloy. It is used in crafting of various machines and items.

Obtaining

It is created by smelting a ratio of 3 Iron Ore to 1 Coal in a Furnace.

Early Game Access to Steel

Ice (Oxite) and Ice (Volatiles) can be manually input directly in the furnace in order to create crude gas mixtures necessary for smelting this ingot. To achieve high enough temperatures for smelting it is recommended to use the stoichiometric ratio of 1 Ice (Oxite) to 2 Ice (Volatiles). </translate>
