Description

The transformer is used to control the maximum amount of power that will flow on a cable, preventing the cables from overloading on high power draw. It comes in 2 variants, Transformer Small and Transformer.

The small transformer is limited to 5,000W output and the large one to 50,000W.

Usage

Given that the transformer can limit power very specifically (with 100W increments), you can control or stop the output line from drawing more than the transformer gives out. This can be used to control many items that don't have a changing power usage, such as lights, volume pumps, pipe regulators, active vents, and more. This is similar to the Area Power Controller but does not have a battery buffer.

Notes

Data will not flow through a transformer, isolating the circuit behind their input.
