It is possible to turn plants, seeds, and Decayed food into electricity through a number of processing steps.
- plants, seeds, or Decayed food into a Recycler produces a Reagent Mix
- placing that Reagent Mix into a Centrifuge turns it into Biomass
- Biomass can be baked inside an Arc Furnace (and probably other furnaces) to become Charcoal
- Charcoal can be burned in a Solid Fuel Generator to make electricity
It is relatively straightforward to connect these devices with Chutes, although starting the Arc Furnace will require some logic. For an advanced challenge, route the charcoal through a Stacker into an SDB Silo and then through another Stacker that only releases small (5?) batches of Charcoal when the Stationary Battery charge gets low (1M joules)
Excess seeds are a common result from a steady-state automated Harvie greenhouse, and it is possible to dedicate a large chunk of a greenhouse to producing raw material for a biofuel pipeline.
