Help me understand translation
Hi. I've been making a fair amount to edits to the Main Page. While doing so, I've noticed some tags interspersed throughout the page. Although I can guess at their purpose, I've haven't found anywhere that explains their exact function and, more importantly, the consequences of moving/modifying them. If you can point me to some documentation or would like to chat online, that would be greatly appreciated. I would like to extend my efforts to more pages and I believe I have a responsibility to better understand the needs of translators before making a bunch of changes all over the site.
